Sunblock

This product is made with all-natural ingredients and contains no added chemicals. Therefore, it is essential to note that this is NOT sunscreen. 

You might wonder what the difference is: sunscreen contains chemicals that absorb UV rays before they reach your skin, while sunblock uses physical (natural) blockers, such as zinc oxide, a natural mineral from the earth, to prevent UV rays from reaching your skin. Sunblock is a better option for people with sensitive skin than sunscreen. 

Some studies have shown that Jojoba Oil and Mango Butter can provide an SPF of 4, Shea Butter can provide an SPF of 3, and Red Raspberry Seed Oil can provide an SPF of 30-50. Kokum Butter and Beeswax both offer a natural blocker for UV rays. 

Due to the handmade nature of this product, we cannot provide SPF value. The FDA regulates SPF ratings, and they have not reviewed or approved this product.
